Our Story

I am a carpenter and entrepreneur from Seinäjoki, in whose hands wood has taken its form for years.

Visakorut.com was born out of a love for genuine wood and a desire to create something that doesn't require a massive factory and cannot be mass-produced.

Curly birch is not ordinary wood. Each piece is genuinely unique. Its grain, patterns, and lively surface make each piece of jewelry a magnificent individual. When you choose Visakorut, you are also supporting Finnish craftsmanship and entrepreneurship.

All our jewelry is designed and manufactured in Finland in my own workshop. Each piece of jewelry passes through my hands multiple times before it is sent to the customer. I cut, sand, finish, and carefully check every detail.

I aim to create jewelry that feels as good in the hand as it looks on the ears. Light to wear, beautiful to look at, and of sufficient quality to last year after year.

In nature, no two trees are exactly alike, and therefore no two pieces of jewelry are exactly alike.

In a world where many things are made quickly and as cheaply as possible, I want to do things a little differently. I want to produce items that showcase Finnish craftsmanship, genuine material, and the maker's pride in their work.
